It's been 2 years since the world lost a remarkable artist; singer & songwriter in the person of Luther. He was the benchmark by which all male R/B singers were compared to.

He was my mentor in all things musical; from putting passion into song, the cadence of words in a sung lyric, the joi-de vivre of a stage persona to his pure and sheer dedication to his craft and artistry.

I can still remember the first few minutes that the news hit me while surfing the news online and I had to literally shut down as I read the news and saw the news clip confirming everything.

And although gone from this world, his musical legacy continues to thrive and live on. And because of Luther...I still sing today and love every moment of it.

Thank you Luther. We miss you and love you...for you are truly SO AMAZING!!!
