Hi Guys, In celebration of Father's Day (the 15th) and of the legacy my own Dad gave me, I'm premiering a brand new song over, "Echoes of the Heart" this coming Saturday, 2pm-4pm. "Echoes" is a talk show on AM radio heard over DWIZ-882 that I co-host with our one and only, Ms. World, Evangeline Pascual. I've been doing the show with her for the past 7 years and I am still enjoying every time that I am on it. You could call it a preview of my album that I am hoping to release in the Fall. :) Thanks guys! Blessed Be! -CAZ
| | Finishing Broadway album for mom just in time for Mother's Day.
Thank you Rina Angeles for joining me in the duet "Too Much In Love To Care" taken from the musical, "SUNSET BOULEVARD" |
| | Back in the studio recording a CD for Mom consisting of all Broadway tunes.
Thank you Pau and the rest of guys at Studio Z; Alexi, Andrew and Marlon.
I have my sources to thank for the music and my dearest friend, the late Richard Alpert for accompaniment direct from the Big Apple. He is sorely missed. :( |
On the Eve of the 1st month since Dad left us last Oct 8, 2007; I've compiled some songs about him and about the way I feel about his profound influence on me and on how I live out the rest of my life.
He knew that I love music and will gladly do almost anything to make that dream come true. Bittersweet that my group's upcoming CD release and launch will be minus one attendee, but wherever he is. I know, Dad is listening and he knows.
These songs are for you and of you, Dad.
Missing you.
In the words of the Ehldiric, used in the book that I'm writing for him says, "NAYARIN THE' TU REMORANTH"; which means..."I Will Remember You."
Love,
your Son, CAZ

This footage nwas taken using our cellphone as me and my good designer friend, Marie killed a Saturday night one weekend till the wee hours of the morning at a Karaoke bar.
One of the songs we did was the James Ingram and Patti Austin classic, "How Do You Keep The Music Playing" which is also the theme song for the talk show, Echoes of the Heart, that I co-host every Saturday, over DWIZ-882 with our one and only Ms World, Evangeline Pascal from 2pm-4pm.
I know, shameless plugging - but just couldn't help it :) Import.flv (9.0 MB)

Yearly anniversary of me being a DJ & Broadcaster...back when I started on Home Radio, 97.9. After the big wave of transition we went from regular pop station to newbie in the niche market by playing predominantly R & B songs before the dawn of Wave 89.1, then to agreeing on the combination of pop, lite rock, acoustic, and soul wherein we were known for a time as Smooth Rock, 97.9. With Dense, TG and the others, we were a team to look out for. Ah...the memories....Rainbow Network!!! But now....the memories and experiences have gone one and taken a life of their own and consolidate to where I'm currently very happy at and that is...Dream FM, 106.7 Nostalgia and opportunities rule. 7 Years and counting.... Still a work in progress....

A site for my growing network of musically inclined friends and fellow artists in the music industry.
Had a chance to interview this new gem of an artist on my slot on Dream Fm, 106.7 today. Soul, groove, heart are the best words to describe Julianne. She has been singing since she began talking. Being cradled to jazz, soul, rhythm and blues at a very early age and deriving her musical influences from the less mainstream but consummate artists such as Jewel, India Arie, Jill Scott and Eryka Badu just to name a few. She devoted most of her 23 years unfolding as a musician and songwriter. Her music has now evolved into her own. Julianne’s groove and charisma are far from typical but even when she renders her obscure jazzy repertoire, non-jazz but genuine audiophiles never fail to be wowed. Baring one's soul is but a trite description of any performer but in Julianne’s case, it essentially captures her moments on stage. Guys, I know you're gonna like what you hear so go and get a copy of her debut album under MCA Records and help bring back the SOUL back into OPM.
